Harry Brown is a registered patent attorney with experience counseling national and international clients of all sizes in all areas of patent law since 1991.
Harry’s technical background includes a degree
in mechanical engineering. He has been involved in procuring patents in the U.S. and abroad in various technologies,
including mechanical, electrical, and chemical technologies.
Harry has drafted and/or prosecuted hundreds of patent applications,
and he has experience with patent reexaminations and reissues. He has also handled appeals
to the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences and patent appeals from district courts and the Board
to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. In addition to substantial experience in prosecuting
patents before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Harry also has substantial experience in patent litigation.
He frequently advises clients on infringement and patentability issues, as well as licensing matters.
Harry has written numerous articles on intellectual property law related topics including patent
infringement damages and patentability issues and he has lectured at universities, and before professional associations.
Harry received his BSME from Syracuse University. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Syracuse University
College of Law, where he was an editor of the Syracuse Law Review.
